Country Sales Manager Italy

Your mission

To support Panda´s strategy and our international expansion, we are looking for a “Country Sales Manager” to kick-start our business in the Italian market.

 You’ll be leading the launch and growth of the country, managing the sales team, owning the go-to-market strategy and closing and winning the biggest deals. This is both a very hands-on and strategic role that involves being able to build a strategy, managing performance, and leading the team.

You will report to our Head of International Expansion and work hand-in-hand with the headquarter’s teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Tech, People, General Management…). The position is based in Paris

Key responsabilities
  • Business development, search and acquisition of new opportunities, preparation of commercial offers, negotiation and closing of contracts while monitoring the operations in Italy.

  • Recruit, manage and coach the Italian team, you’ll be leading a mix of business development and field operations managers - coaching, developing and driving them to meet the country goals

  • Negotiate and Close deals with the biggest companies, you’ll lead the line for your market working Tier1 deals, showing the team how it’s done

  • Market analysis, product introduction and prospecting.

  • Sales forecasts, results, and profitability analysis of results.

  • Monitoring and identification of market trends, competition analysis.

  • Manage your own sales pipeline, you’ll be building a pipeline of the biggest companies and opportunities.

  • Work closely and give market feedback to the product and marketing team regarding Panda´s solutions and how we should develop.

  • It’s your market, so you’ll be able to inform and update the management team on your progress and successes Identify opportunities and market shifts. You’ll have your finger on the pulse of the industry and what our competition are doing.

  • Identify and remove blockers. You’ll spot blockers to growth, identify solutions and implement them

  • Develop the brand in the local ecosystem by developing a B2B portfolio and open new accounts;

  • Build and own relationships with strategic partners



We’re looking for a driven individual, a real hunter with experience of B2B selling who can drive the success of the PandaGo Business team for the market.

We need a superstar with a history of great results, is excellent at team management and knows how to deliver rapid growth. You’ll need to be driven, confident and ambitious. We’re moving quickly and this is an exciting role, one with great scope for growth and impact.

Our future member:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working at similar positions (Country Launcher, Country Manager, Head of Sales…), ideally a first-hand “Italy Launcher” experience with B2B customers in a fast-growing Services/SaaS company.

  • Previous experience implementing successful go-to-market strategies;

  • Good understanding of the SaaS model of business mechanisms and Sales processes;

  • Strong ability to convince and negotiate, enthusiasm and perseverance;

  • Strong analytical experience, and comfortable operating with large data sets and business intelligence tools to generate insight and actionable conclusions

  • Proven track record of leadership, taking ownership and driving results

  • Thrives in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for challenge, autonomous and efficient;

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Italian and English. Spanish is a plus.

 You will have advantage if:

  • You have worked already and have a Network in the automotive, electrical or mobility industry

  • You have built a team of KAMs in the country

  • You have implemented indirect sales channels within your country
